Boldron is a small village in Teesdale. It is now in County Durham, but was historically in the North Riding of Yorkshire.
The Tithe Map of Boldron Parish was drawn in 1841. The photograph below is of the main village taken from this map.
Boldron Parish History Group was set up in 2006 by local people wanting to learn more about the history of the parish. It usually meets in Boldron Village Hall on the first Tuesday of each month. This website has been created to bring the results of their research to a wider audience.
A History of Boldron booklet was published in 2001 and most of this is accessible on the Tomorrow's History website.
